**Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Operator** **Job Description**
A machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. Operators work individually and as part of a team to deliver consistent work and report accurate information promptly. Success in this role requires producing timely, high-quality output that meets company standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks.
+ Set up and operate production machines according to established procedures.
+ Monitor machines during operation to ensure product quality standards are met.
+ Conduct regular in-process inspections for quality control.
+ Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments during production.
+ Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and use proper PPE.
+ Consistently meet production requirements.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work area.
+ Follow company rules and participate in cross-training and other training requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production and machine operation.
+ Ability to use a computer to enter activities into an ERP system.
+ Mechanically inclined with skills in inspection and machine setup.
+ Proficiency in speaking and reading English.
+ Ability to read and interpret gauges, safety rules, MSDS, and manuals.
+ Capability to stand for an 8–10-hour shift.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Effective time management skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Prior experience preferred but not required.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
