**Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Operator** **Job Description** As a machine operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. You will work both individually and as part of a team to deliver consistent work and report accurate information on a timely basis. Success in this role requires the ability to produce timely and high-quality output while adhering to company quality and production standards. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential. **Responsibilities** + Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks. + Set up and operate production machines according to established procedures and guidelines. + Monitor machines during operation to ensure product quality standards are met. + Conduct regular in-process inspections to maintain quality control standards. + Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments during the production process. + Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data. + Follow safety protocols and adhere to proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment. + Consistently meet production requirements. + Maintain a safe and clean work area. + Follow company rules and participate in cross-training and other training requirements. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and machine operating. + Ability to use computers for data entry in ERP systems. + Mechanical aptitude. + Inspection and machine operation skills. + Ability to set up and operate machinery. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to speak and read English effectively. + Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements. + Understanding of safety rules, MSDS, and maintenance instructions. + Ability to stand for 8-10 hours. + Prior experience is preferred but not required. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent time management capabilities. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that is at the forefront of manufacturing a new generation of power transmission lines.
