Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Press Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in operating press machines, ensuring high-quality production in a manufacturing environment. This role offers opportunities for advancement and skill development.
ResponsibilitiesHelp operate the press machine without needing to set up the equipment.Load parts, set measurements, and initiate the press process.Prepare finished products and place them on pallets for shipping.Track and organize work orders using paper documentation.Inspect parts for quality assurance.Utilize forklift skills to drive the pull truck or 'carpet puller'.Essential Skills2+ years of manufacturing and machine operating experience.Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.Strong attention to detail and quality checks.Mechanically inclined with experience in assembly and machine operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrinting experience is desired but not required.Experience with color matching and tape measure skills.Why Work Here?
This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement. Employees can benefit from a shoe reimbursement of up to $100 per year and top-rated press operators can earn in the mid $30s/hour within less than five years with dedication.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
