**Job Title: 2nd Shift Order Picker** **Job Description** As a 2nd shift order picker, you will be responsible for selecting the majority of ingredients required for production according to the production schedule or as directed by the production lead or supervisor. You will execute system transactions to assign picked ingredients to Production Orders, ensuring full traceability of raw materials and packaging, and maintaining accurate inventory levels in the system. **Responsibilities** + Pick ingredients needed for production according to the production schedule or as communicated by the production lead or supervisor. + Execute system transactions to assign picked ingredients to Production Orders. + Organize and continuously reconcile ingredients and packaging inventory for accurate inventories by product code. + Maintain a clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization. + Ensure all micro ingredients are well labeled and organized, with storage locations accurately reflected in the system. + Interpret special instructions on pick lists and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements while handling raw materials. + Pull production orders from the system and verify all correct ingredients are selected from inventory. + Complete packaging label duties according to the production schedule or as communicated by the production lead or supervisor. + Load master label and packaging into the labeling system and verify label information. + Select and print labels with accurate product codes, lot numbers, expiration dates, and other required information. + Coordinate with packaging vendors as requested by Supply Chain. + Maintain food safety culture regarding food defense, quality, and cGMPs for production and warehousing. + Work as a team and communicate professionally, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + 6 months or more of forklift or material handling experience in a food production environment. + 6 months or more of order picking experience in a food production environment. + Basic mathematical skills and proofreading skills. + Ability to relate math and reading information to product label information. + Computer and accurate data entry skills. + Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or leads. + Skilled operation of stand-up and sit-down forklifts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the day. + Proficiency with RF scanners. + Experience in warehouse packing, loading, inventory, and order picking. + Ability to cross-train on all other production positions and meet skill requirements. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a family-like atmosphere where every employee is treated as an equal.
