2nd Shift Medical Device Assembler
Job Description Join a dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of medical devices. This position requires flexibility with shift hours and the willingness to work Saturdays as needed. Please note that this role is a contract-to-hire position, and the transition to a permanent role may take longer than initially projected. Responsibilities + Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. + Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. + Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer/Supervisor. + Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience with microscope use. + Small part assembly skills. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to work with microscope 90% of the shift. + Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience. + HS Diploma or Equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in medical device assembly is preferred. + Cleanroom experience is advantageous. + Familiarity with hand tools, measuring tools, calipers, and micrometers. Work Environment Work in a cleanroom environment 100% of the time, closely collaborating with your team at workstations. The 2nd shift starts at either 3:30 PM or 3:45 PM. Be prepared to engage in physical tasks involving mechanical and electrical assembly, ensuring the highest quality standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
