**Industrial Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the night shift, with competitive hourly wages that are negotiable for exceptional candidates. The working hours are from 3:30 PM to 1:45 AM, Monday through Friday. The role involves performing machine maintenance on CNC mills, forklifts, building maintenance, welding rigs, cranes, and fabrication equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on machines based on established procedures to ensure efficient operation. + Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on downed equipment. + Contact vendors for supplies and recommendations as needed. + Input maintenance data into the Mega Mation tracking system. + Visualize and communicate project plans and required supplies strategically. + Identify steel shapes, sizes, and mill tolerances for project requirements. + Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, jib cranes, gantry cranes, conveyors, and other machinery for maintenance or repair. + Perform additional duties as assigned by management, such as snow plowing, sanding lots, and grounds maintenance. + Attend all required meetings as directed by management. + Consistently and reliably work scheduled hours at assigned locations. **Essential Skills** + Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance. + Proficiency in using welding equipment, airless sprayers, and industrial painting techniques. + Familiarity with powder coating, paint preparation, and grinding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience. + At least 6 months of experience in a steel manufacturing environment. **Why Work Here?** Join an employee-owned company with a strong focus on employee benefits and growth opportunities. This is an ESOP company since 2016 (this means it's employee owned). Employees will receive stock in the company after 1 year. They will also receive OT up to 10 hours a week on the regular.
