The Machinist supports high-volume production by operating CNC and PLC-controlled machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Ideal candidates have experience in metal cutting, CNC machine operation, blueprint/GD&T interpretation, and excel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday – Friday Morning 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay:
0-1 Years of Experience: $24.15 Plus 6% Shift Differential for 2nd shift only
2 Years of Experience: $25.73 Plus 6% Shift Differential for 2nd shift only
3 Years of Experience: $27.30 Plus 6% Shift Differential for 2nd shift only
4 Years of Experience: $29.40 Plus 6% Shift Differential for 2nd shift only
5 Years of Experience: $31.76 Plus 6% Shift Differential for 2nd shift only

Responsibilities· Operate and monitor CNC and PLC-based equipment, interpreting machine data to ensure processes align with control plans
· Respond to alarms and machine faults, performing troubleshooting and minor repairs to maintain continuous production
· Document defects, rework, and scrap following non-conforming material procedures
· Monitor tooling wear and perform tooling changes to maintain accuracy and quality
· Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and error-proofing initiatives
· Train, guide, and certify machine technicians to ensure consistent performance and adherence to quality standards
· Review process instructions and control plans, escalating deviations to the Group Leader
· Enter production and defect data in computer systems and review digital metrics to support reporting and analysis
· Verify gage calibration and monitor special characteristics to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance with control plans
· Assess equipment condition proactively to reduce downtime and prevent potential issues
· Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area
Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Additional Requirements· Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
