Grinder / Manual Grinder to support precision manufacturing operations. In this role, you will set up and operate grinding machines to produce parts that meet detailed specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, solid inspection skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with shop leadership.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC and manual grinding machines according to job travelers, tooling instructions, and standard chartsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications including dimensions and tolerancesInspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and fixed gaugesOperate bench grinders to sharpen tools as neededIdentify and report defective parts and complete required documentationMaintain accurate production recordsQualifications & RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years of grinding experienceStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructionsKnowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environmentExperience with GD&T and SPCMust be able to pass pre-employment screening Benefits and Perks$18+/hr. starting wage, based on experienceDirect Hire opportunityMedical, Dental, Vision, and voluntary insurance optionsSupportive, team-focused work environmentOpportunities for cross-training and career developmentYour New OrganizationJoin an established organization providing inspection, testing, and certification services across food, agriculture, and consumer goods industries.
