**Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Machine operator Assistant on the 2nd shift. This role involves assisting in the operation of press machines, primarily focused on loading parts, setting measurements, and starting the press process. The machines are pre-setup, so no setup is required. You will also be responsible for preparing finished products and organizing them for shipping, as well as inspecting parts for quality. **Responsibilities** + Help operate the press machine. + Load parts and set measurements. + Start the press process and prep finished products for shipping. + Track work orders using paper documentation. + Inspect parts for quality. + Operate a forklift as needed. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of manufacturing and machine operating experience. + Ability to operate a sit-down forklift. + Experience in machine operation and inspection. + Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct quality checks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Printing experience is desired but not required. + Mechanically inclined and visual inspection + Ability to operate a tape measure. + Knowledge in assembly and machine operating. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering room for advancement. Training occurs from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm for 4 to 6 weeks. Overtime is scheduled, and candidates will be informed in advance. The facility is not climate controlled. Proper attire includes steel-toe/composite shoes, pants, and t-shirts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
