Machine operator 2nd shift

Job description:  

 As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring automated welding and tube forming machines. You will play a crucial role in loading raw materials, adjusting machine settings, conducting inspections, troubleshooting malfunctions, performing maintenance, documenting production, and collaborating with teams to enhance efficiency and quality. 

 

Set up, operate, and monitor automated welding and tube forming machines. Load raw materials into machines ensuring proper alignment and positioning. Adjust machine settings based on product specifications and quality standards. Conduct in-process inspections and measurements to ensure dimensional accuracy. Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or welding defects. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Document production output and quality checks in accordance with company procedures. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve process efficiency and product quality. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area. 

 

 

  

  

Qualifications:  

  

High-speed package operating experience  Accurately read a measuring tape and ruler  Basic shop math   Ability to work in a high-speed packaging environment, package, and label  Work with a sense of urgency without jeopardizing attention to detail/quality  Heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.  Inspection and assembly  

  

  

Schedule & Wage:  

  

(Monday - Friday)  

  

2nd shift: 3.30pm –12 am  

   

 

  

Work Environment:  

You will be required to wear steel toes, safety vests, safety glasses, and ear protection. You must be comfortable on your feet and walking as this facility is VERY spacious and is well ventilated.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
