**Job Title: 2nd Shift General Production Worker** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Production Worker on the 2nd shift, where you'll contribute to the creation of high-quality polymer insulators. This role involves working on the production line, performing tasks such as basic crimping, and utilizing hand or power tools. Training will be provided for crimping, and you'll have the opportunity to cross-train in various roles to enhance your versatility and skillset. **Responsibilities** + Work efficiently on the production line, assembling polymer insulators with precision. + Perform basic crimping tasks with training provided. + Utilize hand tools or power tools effectively in various tasks. + Engage in cross-training to learn and perform different roles within the production process. + Operate molding machines efficiently to produce high-quality polymer insulators. + Conduct packaging and assembly tasks, ensuring products meet company standards. + Perform regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications. **Essential Skills** + Experience in general production, assembly, or mechanical aptitude. + Proficiency in using hand tools or power tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility to work in various positions on the production line. + Ability to handle heavy lifting as required. **Why Work Here?** Our company is a leading manufacturer of high-voltage polymer insulators with a commitment to quality and environmental management, as evidenced by our ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001 registrations. We offer shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, providing flexibility to suit your schedule. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
