**Job Title: Forklift Driver** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver for a well-established paper packaging manufacturer in the Waukegan/North Chicago area. This role involves operating a forklift and working within the warehouse, primarily in the receiving department. The working hours for this position are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. **Responsibilities** + Operate sit-down and clamp forklifts to move materials to and from machines and designated locations. + Load and unload trucks using a sit-down or clamp forklift and pallet jack. + Document any damaged goods received and ensure all paperwork from deliveries is provided to the appropriate department. + Maintain consistent, dependable attendance and be willing to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Experience in operating sit-down and clamp forklifts. + Proficiency with hand scanners and tablets. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision. + Honest, dependable, safety, and quality conscious. + Capable of managing job-related stress effectively. + 5+ years of forklift experience, with the ability to maneuver in small spaces. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual skills preferred. + Good job history required. + Experience with RF scanners, labeling, shipping, and receiving. + No high school diploma required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a clean work environment and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO after 90 days, medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid short-term and long-term disability, company-paid life insurance, voluntary life insurance, and a 401k with company match. **If you're interested in this position, please contact Melissa at (847) 580-2812.
