Our client, a global food and beverage company, is seeking a 2nd Shift Fleet Operations Specialist to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Fleet Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting driver coordination and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, background in transportation/logistics and coordinating drivers.
**Job Title:** 2nd Shift Fleet Operations Specialist
**Location:** Charlotte, NC. ONSITE.
**Pay Range:** $20
**What's the Job?**
+ Act as the evening point of contact for drivers, providing support and communication.
+ Handle incoming calls from drivers regarding field issues, scheduling questions, or troubleshooting needs.
+ Evaluate issues to determine if escalation is necessary, serving as an intermediary.
+ Assist with driver scheduling and ensure drivers are on the road as planned.
+ Maintain accurate records and update compliance systems in accordance with DOT regulations.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital filing systems.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Willingness to learn and apply DOT regulations (training provided).
