Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled electro-mechanical assemblers for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) at a military and defense facility located in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa. You will begin your training with the team on the first shift and transition to the 2nd shift by the end of July. This role offers competitive pay based on experience with opportunities for overtime during weekdays and Saturdays.ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical and electrical assemblies in a manufacturing setting, preferably in aerospace, electronics, or medical industries.Utilize common hand tools and power tools, including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and depth micrometers.Use specialized test equipment such as multimeters, test boxes, and pressure gauges.Read and interpret wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams, both verbally and in writing.Adapt quickly to changing roles and responsibilities in a high-paced work environment.Possibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to read wiring diagrams.Working knowledge of electrical components.Proficient in computer use, including standard browser and word processing applications.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies and high-quality wire harnesses.Hand soldering and component fabrication skills.Validation and testing of electronic components using multimeters and oscilloscopes.Familiarity with air-frame construction techniques such as rivets and nut plates.Electronic box assembly troubleshooting.Experience in RF systems testing and troubleshooting.Ability to write detailed issue tickets for failures.Why Work Here?This role offers a 6-month temporary-to-hire opportunity with potential for direct hire for top performers.
