Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleanroom Tech Assembler to join our production line. As a leading supplier of surgical one-time-use items, instruments, and kits, we require someone who can efficiently manage tasks in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

Count, cut, measure, fold, or modify raw materials as directed in the Device Master Record, completing necessary inspections and documentation per QS & GMP policy.Perform on-line inspections of each device produced and report any issues to the Production Supervisor.Seal products in their final packaging configuration, adhering to proper procedures and machine settings.Prepare packaged work in progress for sterilization, completing necessary documentation and control numbers.Maintain proper inventory control procedures, including product staging, segregation, and rotation.Conduct scheduled facility cleaning as per QS standards.Adhere to proper Clean Room etiquette.Collaborate with production, purchasing, quality, and management to achieve assigned goals and objectives.Meet objectives of the quality management system and suggest improvements as necessary.

Essential Skills

Ability to work as a team to achieve company goals.Strong attention to detail and motivation to work.Proven team leader capabilities.Ability to operate basic production equipment.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred 1 year of experience in cleanroom, medical assembly, or warehouse.Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

You will work in a cleanroom environment with four employees in a new department. Cleanroom gear, including scrubs, a white coat, gloves, a hair net, and restrictions on makeup, jewelry, eyelashes, and nails, is mandatory. The environment is predominantly Spanish-speaking, and basic English proficiency is required for reading work orders and communicating with auditors/supervisors. The shift is from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime on weekdays or Saturdays. Set breaks occur after four hours, and employees are allowed to drink water or use the restroom, but must inform the lead to ungown and gown up again.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
