**2nd Shift Assembler - Water Bearing** **Job Description** Join our team as a 2nd Shift Assembler - Water Bearing, where you will be responsible for filling customer orders by selecting, sorting, testing, and assembling components into completed plumbing faucets and fixtures. **Responsibilities** + Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures, including spouts, valves, and showerheads. + Conduct water pressure and flow testing on required assemblies. + Inspect finished components during assembly to ensure they meet quality standards. + Follow instructions and locate parts using Pick Tickets. + Notify team leader of any quality variances and parts shortages. + Operate hand tools and acquire parts efficiently, ensuring accuracy in type and quantity for assembly or final packaging. + Transport orders to different staging areas using material handling equipment like push carts. + Scan tickets into the ERP system and occasionally retrieve order information. + Perform corrective maintenance on water systems, such as valves and blow-offs. + Enter orders into the ERP system to track rework orders to the finishing department. + Read and count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly. + Utilize manual, electric, and air-powered hand tools. + Apply adhesives and lubricants. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of assembly experience. + Proficiency in using hand tools and assembling tools. + High School Diploma or G.E.D. + Ability to communicate discrepancies to the team leader, solve problems, and implement solutions. + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence. + Capability to lift 1-15 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to follow instructions carefully. **Why Work Here?** + This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a family-owned company. + Our products are crafted with artisan hands, not mass-produced, and we offer over 30 finishes to our customers. + Join a company renowned for its high standards and quality craftsmanship. **Work Environment** + Our work environment involves metal finishing of brass fixtures to meet high standards. + This is a family-owned company where products are crafted with care and precision. + The role includes working in a setting that values quality and attention to detail. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
