**Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler** **Job Description** This role involves utilizing all necessary tools to ensure that quality parts are manufactured to meet customer expectations. The position requires fast-paced assembly work across various departments, deploying electro-mechanical and test equipment to assemble, wire, and test products using sheet metal prints, electrical schematics, and test procedures. **Responsibilities** + Assemble components, make wiring connections, and conduct tests using hand tools, pneumatic tools, electrical/electronic tools, and related equipment. + Move freely within the environment to maximize production flow and overall efficiency. + Read blueprints, wiring schematics, and work instructions effectively. + Work from job tickets, manuals, or verbal instructions as needed. + Use appropriate tools and equipment necessary for the job, including inspection equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using hand and power tools with 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience. + Ability to read and write in English. + Capability to use a computer to verify and sort jobs. + Experience in assembly, mechanical systems, and reading blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with inspection processes and systems controls. + Experience with setup specific to department or equipment. + Appropriate communication skills (read, write, speak, listen). + Process and detail orientation with the ability to discuss, deploy, and document best practices. **Why Work Here?** Join a team recently recognized as the 2020 Manufacturer of the Year by the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association. The noise level is moderate, and employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes and pants. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
