**Job Title: 2nd shift Assembler** Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Assembler for our second shift. The role involves assembling subcomponents and finished products, using both hand and power tools. This is a fast-paced production environment where you will be integral in building heat exchangers and operating an overhead crane. Responsibilities + Assemble subcomponents and finished products with precision. + Execute material processing within the facility. + Fit metal products using hand and power tools. + Operate hand tools, power tools, and an overhead crane. + Build heat exchangers in a fast-paced assembly environment. + Lift items weighing 60 lbs or more. + Collaborate with a team member to fulfill daily product orders. + Engage in physical activities such as lifting, climbing, and extending arms for extended periods. Essential Skills + Proficiency in operating hand and power tools. + Ability to interpret assembly diagrams and blueprints. + Experience with overhead cranes. + Capability to lift 50 lbs+ (40 lbs+ independently). + Familiarity with assembly schematics and tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED is not required while on contract but must be obtained within a certain time upon conversion to a permanent position. + Company offers a funded GED program. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
