2nd Shift Assembler
**Medical Device Assembler** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team as an Assembler where you'll play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of medical devices. This position offers an opportunity for growth with a leading company, although candidates should be aware that the transition from contract to permanent may take longer than anticipated. Flexibility is key, as candidates must be open to starting shifts earlier and working on Saturdays when required. **Responsibilities** + Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. + Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. + Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Project Engineer/Supervisor. + Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with microscopes. + Small part assembly skills. + Strong communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience with a microscope. + Ability to work with a microscope for 90% of the shift. + Experience working with small parts, such as catheters. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Familiarity with cleanroom environments is beneficial. + Medical device assembly experience is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a growing company with a great work environment and culture. The 2nd shift starts at either 3:30 pm or 3:45 pm. Candidates should be prepared to start an hour before the official shift time and work Saturdays as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
