**Job Title: 2nd/3rd Shift Press Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team on the 2nd or 3rd shift. You will be responsible for operating numerical controlled turret and press brake machines, ensuring the quality of manufactured parts, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operation. **Responsibilities** + Work from manufacturing information, drawings, sketches, intranet, SAP, and written or oral instructions. + Operate numerical controlled turret and press brake using automatic, semi-automatic, or manual controls. + Perform mathematical calculations to make machine adjustments according to specifications. + Punch, pierce, emboss, blank, notch, slot, and form a variety of metallic parts, checking them against drawings. + Set up and operate press brake to bend and form materials and parts on a complex basis. + Program Light Curtain and develop programs for new parts. + Conduct daily and weekly machine maintenance checks and tests. + Recognize malfunctions and perform troubleshooting. + Sort and deliver parts to work area, and move materials as needed. + Notify supervisor of equipment or tool conditions requiring service or repairs. + Maintain required records and documents according to standards. + Provide suggestions for continuous improvement. + Edit programs and check N.C. plot to ensure quality parts. + Observe all company rules and safety practices, maintaining a neat and orderly work area. **Essential Skills** + Experience with Press Brake operations. + Blueprint reading skills. + Machining experience + Preventative maintenance expertise. + Basic mathematical skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift license acquisition. + Ability to perform machine setup. + Competency in using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. **Why Work Here?** Join a reputable company with a clean manufacturing environment, offering a contract-to-hire position. Safety is a priority; you must wear steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while in the shop. Choose between 2nd shift, Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-11pm, or 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday from 11pm-7:30am. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
