**Job Title: 2nd & 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Shift Maintenance Technician, you will handle both emergency work and preventative maintenance. You will primarily ensure the continuous operation of production by applying temporary solutions until full repairs can be conducted. Your work will involve a 70/30 split between mechanical and electrical tasks, including working on baggers, pipes, conveyors, food fillers, sealers, freezers, inkjet printers, and more.
**Shift/Pay**
2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm
3rd shift: 11pm - 7pm
Expect there to be some OT worked during the week, along with every other Saturday
Pay will be between $26 - $30, with a $2.50 premium for off shifts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance of all assigned plant equipment, including service, repair, or replacement of gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, etc.
+ Ensure the mechanical and physical integrity of production equipment.
+ Minimize production downtime due to mechanical failures.
+ Complete preventative maintenance measures timely.
+ Assist mechanics with machine repair and equipment troubleshooting.
+ Support 1st shift production departments for timely setup.
+ Safely use maintenance shop equipment such as drill presses, lathes, and pneumatic tools.
+ Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and engage in bending and twisting activities.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Industrial maintenance experience with conveyors.
+ Strong electrical repair and troubleshooting skills, including 480volt/3phase.
+ Great attitude with a team mentality and positive outlook.
+ Strong attendance and reliability.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Food manufacturing maintenance experience is a plus.
+ Additional PLC experience is beneficial.

**Work Environment**
Work in a food manufacturing facility with over 500 employees, producing and packaging frozen food for grocery stores nationwide. This is a clean, well-air-conditioned environment that meets FDA requirements. The facility spans approximately 400,000 sq ft, with 80% temperature-controlled at 55 degrees. Cooler areas are at 35 degrees, and some freezers range from 0 to -10 degrees. Standard steel-toed boots with liquid resistance are required. This is a Permanent position based out of HOLLAND, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $67600.00/yr.
