2027 Markets Summer Analyst Program - Research

As a Summer Analyst in the Commercial & Investment Bank Research team, you will be part of a dynamic team helping to solve a range of challenging and interesting business issues and will be challenged in your work. Our global Markets teams are active in all major financial markets and develop sophisticated financial solutions to help clients manage risk, increase returns and solve complex financial problems. Globally, we hold leadership positions across all major financial markets. J.P. Job responsibilities

Modeling financial statements and industry dynamicsPerforming detailed valuation workAssessing relevant news eventsAnalyzing complex data setsWriting research notes, sector pieces, industry and market overviewsAdvising internal and external clients, corporates and management teams 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028 from Bachelor’s or Master’s programIf you are pursuing a Master’s degree, it must be within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor’s degree.Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scaleProven analytical skills, experience with quantitative (e.g., algebra, statistics, probability) and data analysisExceptional writing skillsGenuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trendsAbility to multi-task and collaborate within a team environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentFluency in EnglishExcellent verbal and written communication skillsConfidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects

 

To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. We offer limited sponsorship for those enrolled in STEM degree programs that are heavily indexed in finance.
