The DCM desk focuses on high-grade and high-yield clients in Latin America and the Caribbean, collaborating globally to offer services such as liability management and ESG financing.

Job Summary
As a Latin America Debt Capital Markets Intern in our Markets team, you will assist in executing all aspects of international bond transactions, prepare marketing materials and proposals, coordinate conference calls, and support documentation and due diligence processes. You’ll gather and process market information for client presentations, analyze financing alternatives across currencies, and benchmark corporate clients against global peers. You will collaborate with local and international third parties and contribute to comparable company analyses.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in executing international bond transactions for Latin America clientsPrepare marketing materials, proposals, market updates, and deal reviewsCoordinate conference calls and working group listsSupport documentation and due diligence processesManage internal procedures and organize roadshow logisticsGather and process market information for client presentationsAnalyze and compare financing and refinancing alternatives across currenciesPrepare deal-related and general marketing materialsAnalyze credit and financial conditions of corporate clientsBenchmark clients against global industry peersCollaborate with lawyers, rating agencies, and auditors during bond issue execution

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Strong interest in investment banking and global financial marketsExcellent analytical, quantitative (algebra, statistics, probability), and interpretative skillsAbility to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environmentAdaptable, flexible, and resilientFluency in English and SpanishFluency means the ability to easily read, write, speak, and comprehend each languageCoursework in finance or economicsGraduation date of December 2027 – June 2028 from a Bachelor’s or Master’s programIf pursuing a Master’s degree, it must be within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor’s degreeMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
