As part of our Winter Development Program, you’ll learn about our business, gaining valuable insights into our global corporate mergers and acquisition (M&A), advisory, equities, investment, asset management or trading capabilities. You’ll be exposed to the workings of real deals, transactions and investments, while learning new skills and building your professional network.  
We have opportunities in: 
Macquarie Capital 
From M&A and capital markets to principal and equities, in Macquarie Capital you’ll gain valuable insights across our full spectrum of capital solutions in a team with global reach.  
Macquarie Asset Management 
From managing electricity networks, renewable energy platforms, and farms to investing in hospitals, aged-care facilities and other essential businesses. In this team, you’ll gain an insight into how we deliver innovative investment solutions to clients across a range of solutions.  
Commodities and Global Markets 
Support our business to trade commodities, energy, metals, fixed income and futures. You’ll be part of a global business offering capital and financing, risk management, market access, physical execution and logistics solutions for clients across Commodities, Financial Markets and Asset Finance.  
What you offer

Science, technology, engineering and math students or women from any discipline in their second last year of study (i.e. completing your studies in 2027).  No prior financial experience is required, just an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn. Please note, to be eligible for this program, you must be either an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident. You must also be available to complete this three-week internship from Monday, June 29th 2026 until Friday 17th July 2026.
