Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Intern. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in San Diego, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Navigation, Intelligence and Connectivity division / Global Supply Chain organization.
Essential Functions:
Actively monitor supplier delivery and associated financial performance tracking
Interface with Business Operations Stakeholders and Tools to pull and analyze Key Performance Indicator data for GSC Division.
Support functions to provide comprehensive business forecasting.
Extract, monitor, analyze and validate data and information from multiple sources.
Ability to interact with different functional stakeholders (i.e. Supplier Quality, Program Office, Engineering, and Operations) to achieve business solutions
Potential project facilitation related to Supply Chain initiatives
Basic Qualifications
Candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2026
Be majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics & Transportation, or closely related discipline
Should have a general understanding of Supply Chain Management principles
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
Keen interest in Global Supply Chain functional group
Exposure or experience with Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel formulas, pivot tables and PowerPoint.
Intern Pay Range:
Bachelors: $25.75 to $32.75
Masters: $37.25 to $40.00
