You will directly contribute to the development of high-performance and scalable software solutions that will significantly impact life science fields including next-generation sequencing, diagnostics, and precision medicine. **Who You Are:** + Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Bioengineering, or related fields. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. + Familiarity with Unix/Linux based environments and command-line tools. + Basic knowledge of genome bioinformatics and DNA sequencing. + Experience with popular programming languages used in bioinformatics such as Python and C/C++. + Experience with version control systems like Git. **Preferred** **:** + Experience with parallel programming, systems programming, and performance optimization.
