The Business Unit CFO Intern is a member of the Business Area CFO team within the Finance organization. In this visible role, you will have the opportunity to support in the development of Equitable’s strategic plan, drive efforts to improve efficiency and productivity and partner with senior leaders to identify, evaluate, analyze and deliver key insights across our business units. The Business Area CFO team provides financial guidance and support to the business areas within Equitable. **What You'll Be Doing** + Assist with financial report preparation, modeling, and analysis + Research and benchmarking industry data + Help with arranging meetings and presentations + Work under supervision of team leaders and other mentors + Assist with preparing communications, assist with presentations and related support materials **Internship Details** Dates: Nine week program starting in early June 2026 Hourly Rate: $22/hour Location: New York, NY Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on–site presence of 3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration **What You'll Bring** + Rising College Senior (Class of 2027) + Business Majors with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or related + General understanding of accounting, financial modeling, and reporting concepts + Strong desire to learn and apply new concepts + Ability to multi-task while continuing to ensure attention to detail + Excellent written/verbal communications and listening skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Power Point, Word, Excel + Ability to work the full duration of the 9-week program **Competencies and Skills** **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high level of precision. **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, project, groups or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. **Adapts and learns:** Actively learns and adapts through experimentation when tackling new problems and situations, using both successes and failures to develop and learn. **About Equitable** At Equitable, we’re a team committed to helping our clients secure their financial well-being so that they can pursue long and fulfilling lives.
