## **About the Role** Uber is looking for current MBA students to join as the Program Manager for Shared Rides Support. In this role, you’ll gain skills and exposure by serving as the voice of the shared rides customer, and driving optimizations across support policies & support automations. In this role, you’ll showcase and develop your ability to analyze data, enhance our strategy, and build and execute a roadmap. You’ll get firsthand experience working with partners throughout support, product, ops, and finance, to identify and solve for complex and costly customer pain points. Additionally, you’ll be called upon to develop and showcase your communication and teamworking skills as you collaborate across teams and report to leadership. ## **What You'll Do:** - Be the driving force behind the execution of the global Shared Rides Support strategy - Oversee and execute the 2026 roadmap and drive execution of initiatives aimed at reducing support cost and addressing product-specific nuance. Surface defect reduction insights, push for low-cost policy differentiation, coordinate support automations, and reduce cost per contact. - Work closely with senior Ops and Finance stakeholders to ensure the program is on track to cost reduction targets. - Uphold and enhance strong cross-regional relationships and governance by driving visibility into key metric health and project updates, proactively engaging regional stakeholders and building a global low-cost support community. - Develop strategic insights on both quantitative and qualitative data about low-cost product support. Tell a compelling story with data to large audiences, including executive level stakeholders. Simplify complex issues into narratives to influence high-level decision-making and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders. - Build cross-functional trust and reputation as a thought leader in the low-cost support domain. ## **Basic Qualifications** - Currently enrolled in MBA program (graduating between May - June 2027) - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience - Strong Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills - Excellent problem solving, business judgment, analytical, and critical thinking skills - Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive audiences ## **Preferred Qualifications** - Proven experience in working with diverse set of functions and stakeholders in complex organizational settings - Ability to independently navigate competing pressures and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, unstructured environment - Experience building deep, trust-based relationships with teams and cross-functional partners at various levels of seniority - Experience building efficient processes that scale across a large organization ## **About the Team** Community Operations (CommOps) team that provides outstanding customer support to all Uber customers and partners (e.g., riders, drivers, eaters, restaurants). You’ll be part of the Global Differentiated Product Support team that is focused on global program management of Rider & Driver support for Uber’s low-cost and premium Mobility products, with Shared Rides being part of the low-cost product portfolio. For New York, NY-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$54.00 per hour. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD$54.00 per hour.
