Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst / Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in San Diego, CA.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Organization.
Roles and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A01) or Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A02)
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A01):

Completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by December 2025.
Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access is required to start.

Has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution or is completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of program cost and schedule control analyst experience by December 2025.
Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork, capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
Pay Range
Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A01): $61,200 to $91,800
Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A02): $73,900 to $110,900
