Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Aeronautical Engineer (Level 1) or Aeronautical Engineer (Level 2). This position will be located at our Space sector in Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Manufacturing & Operations Business Unit.
Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have many duties, some of which include:
Hands-on integration or testingDeveloping/maintaining proceduresIncorporating hardware/tooling design changesDeveloping/planning/coordinating integration activitiesCoordinating with suppliers and procurement officeCreating digital/physical mockups and toolsComplying with strict aerospace standardsSupporting live fire static testing and flight test eventsBasic Qualifications:
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD) from an accredited institutionBe majoring in or having majored in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related Engineering degreeBe able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needsPreferred Qualifications:
