**Job Title: 1st Shift TIG Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift TIG Welder who is adept in working with blueprints and schematics. This role requires expertise in thin gauge welding on steel or aluminum within a manufacturing environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform TIG welding on steel and aluminum materials. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute welding tasks accurately. + Engage in thin gauge welding processes for precise and high-quality results. + Participate in fabrication tasks, ensuring all standards are met. + Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently. + Conduct grinding and deburring activities to refine welds and ensure smooth finishes. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in TIG welding techniques. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience in welding within a manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum. + Familiarity with fabrication processes. + Capability to operate grinding and deburring tools. + Welding certifications and trade school preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a strong team-oriented culture that values collaboration and rewards collective performance with bonuses. Join a team of 150 employees, with 12-15 members dedicated to welding. This position offers a consistent 1st shift schedule from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, MA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
