**Job Title: 1st Shift Shipping Clerk** **Job Description** Join a dynamic distribution company that specializes in automotive parts as a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker. Work on the first shift from 5:30 AM to 2 PM, focusing on receiving, restocking inventory, and managing shipments. **Responsibilities** + Receive and restock inventory, oversee dispatch, and manage overstock. + Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently. + Break down boxes and package items for shipment. + Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders accurately. + Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed. + Package items for shipment with precision. + Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry. **Essential Skills** + Experience with RF scanners and order pickers. + Ability to operate pallet jacks. + Proficiency in inventory management and shipping & receiving tasks. + Comfortable lifting and moving weights up to 100 pounds. + Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. + Capable of standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, and reaching with hands and arms. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable using rolling safety ladders with 5-7 steps, occasionally up to 15 steps. + Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. + Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy career growth with a direct hire opportunity that includes a $0.50 pay increase.
