1st Shift Service Assembler
**Job Title: 1st Shift Service Assembler** **Job Description** With minimal supervision, you will assemble, build, modify, and troubleshoot a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration assemblies. You will perform point-to-point wiring, adjustments, and functional tests, ensuring high workmanship standards. **Responsibilities** + Assemble, troubleshoot, refurbish, and rework electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration assemblies. + Work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches, written, and verbal instructions. + Perform wiring, electrostatic discharge wiring and assembly, soldering, refrigeration charging, brazing, deburring, tube bending. + Conduct functional tests such as pressure leak testing, refrigeration leak testing, heat load testing, thermal capacity testing, and hy-pot testing. + Perform adjustments, maintenance, and lubrication. + Maintain necessary hand tools and measurement devices. + Work in other cells and perform related duties as directed. + Maintain a clean work area and observe all safety rules. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and write English. + Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and reading blueprints. + Very good mechanical skills and ability to use a drill press and hand tools. + Strong communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + HVAC training due to brazing and cooling system knowledge. + High school diploma is preferred. + Strong mechanical assembly skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a very stable and clean high-tech company offering a temp to perm opportunity. Dress casually in jeans and a company shirt. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
