**Job Title: 1st Shift Quality Assurance Inspector**
Job Description
Join our team as a 1st Shift Quality Assurance Inspector, where you will work from 6am to 2:30pm and have the opportunity for overtime on Saturdays starting at 5am. We are looking for candidates with a passion for quality control and ideally with 2-4 years of experience, though we are open to those with 1-2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in the inspection of product returns.
+ Perform and document testing according to test protocols.
+ Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for non-conforming materials and assemblies.
+ Perform and document incoming inspections according to drawing specifications.
+ Conduct label and Instruction for Use (IFU) inspections as required.
+ Review manufacturing-related paperwork in Device History Record for accuracy and completeness.
+ Utilize Visual Inspection Systems and other inspection tools such as tensile strength machines, calipers, and pin gages.
+ Coordinate with production personnel to perform in-process and finished product inspections in a cleanroom environment and within production schedules.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
+ Hands-on experience dealing with raw materials.
+ Strong documentation skills.
+ Quality control expertise.
+ Proficiency in computer use.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must have Medical Device Quality Assurance experience.
+ Ability to work with Return Material Authorizations (RMA).
+ Minimum 1 to 2 years of receiving inspection experience in a regulated industry.
+ Blueprint reading skills.
+ Experience working with small parts, particularly catheters.
+ Experience in the medical device industry preferred, but open to other regulated industries such as aerospace.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment, specifically in the Receiving room, where you will work 100% of the time alongside a team of eight dedicated professionals.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
