**Job Title: Manufacturing Team Cell Lead** + **Pay** : $23-25.00 per hour based off relating experience + **Shift** : 6am-2:30pm is regular shift schedule. (Overtime outside based off demands & availability) + **Location** : Grayslake, IL **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Production Lead to join our team during the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm. As a Cell Lead, you will ensure that the team stays on schedule and production is completed efficiently, while maintaining high quality standards and practicing lean manufacturing principles such as 5S. **Responsibilities** + Complete first piece inspection of products to ensure they meet quality standards and continually monitor quality during production. + Motivate team members to enhance production quantity and maintain high production standards. + Set standards for team members and guide them on daily expectations. + Inspect finished orders and verify that they meet criteria according to blueprints. + Evaluate tools and equipment for proper functionality and troubleshoot malfunctions. + Train new employees and existing team members on: equipment operation, manufacturing processes, and safety procedures. + Report to daily manufacturing meetings to discuss production needs with other cells. + Update and monitor Gemba boards daily, identifying concerns and providing solutions. + Assist with daily work, including setting up and operating machinery, guiding team members, and monitoring machinery adjustments. + Order routine supplies to ensure efficient cell operations. + Maintain accurate work records and monitor team performance, assisting with performance appraisals. **Why Work Here?** The company is renowned for its comprehensive grounding and bonding product line, holding a distinction as the first to obtain UL 467 listing on a copper busbar. Physical requirements include continuous standing, moving, and reaching, along with frequent walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items. Occasionally, lifting and moving up to 50 lbs is required. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
