Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a 1st Shift Production Associate, where you will play a vital role in the dough production process. Your responsibilities will include batch setup and mixing, as well as stacking and cooling dough trays. You will work in a clean and organized environment, ensuring quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Perform batch setup and mixing process for dough according to the correct recipe for size and type.Gather, measure, and mix ingredients based on current recipe requirements.Record batch data, including dough temperature, and maintain proofing library with samples from each batch.Become dough certified through required training and maintain certification annually.Perform metal detector checks and record them accurately on the CCP log.Refill bulk ingredient containers and pull ingredients from dry storage as needed.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.Remove loaded dough trays from the line and cross stack for cooling purposes.Work in dough cooler with temperatures ranging from 33°-38°.Ensure trays are moved to designated areas and maintain clean trays during stacking procedures.Process cooled stacks of dough and assist with down stacking.Check trays for proper labeling and document down stack logs accordingly.Rotate pallets of dough in cooler to accommodate current production.Gather and count returned or expired dough trays, scraping dough into waste barrels.Perform daily responsibilities including weighing and recording dough waste, sanitation tasks, and sorting trays.Use manual pallet jack or forklift for retrieving pallets and raw ingredients.Manually place dough in trays if the placement machine malfunctions.Essential Skills
Experience in food production, warehouse, and manufacturing.Ability to load and unload products, and perform general manual labor.Proficiency in mixing products.Experience with repetitive lifting up to 50lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing and distribution facility serving a tri-state area. The facility is clean, with a chilly refer area manageable with appropriate clothing. Contractors are rotated to prevent prolonged exposure to cold temperatures, with a maximum of 45 minutes in the freezer per shift. In summer, the dry storage area can reach up to 80 degrees, but movement in and out of cooler areas helps mitigate discomfort. Required attire includes nonslip and oil-resistant steel-toe shoes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
