Job Description
As a 1st Shift Production Associate, you will be responsible for performing batch setup and mixing processes, handling dough trays, and executing sanitation tasks in a dynamic production environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of dough production.
ResponsibilitiesPerform batch setup and mixing processes, ensuring correct batch recipes are used.Gather, measure, and mix ingredients according to current recipes.Record batch data including dough temperature and maintain proofing library by collecting samples.Become dough certified through required training and maintain certification annually.Perform metal detector checks and record them on CCP logs as per required times and amounts.Refill bulk ingredient containers and pull ingredients from dry storage as needed.Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.Remove loaded dough trays from the line and cross stack them for cooling.Work in the dough cooler, managing stacks of dough trays.Ensure trays are properly labeled during stacking processes.Down stack trays as dough temperature reaches target levels, documenting on logs.Rotate pallets of dough in cooler to accommodate current production.Gather and count returned or expired dough trays, manually scraping them into waste barrels.Weigh, record, and dispose of dough waste as necessary.Complete end-of-shift sanitation tasks and sort dirty/stained trays.Use manual pallet jack or forklift to retrieve pallets or raw ingredients.Essential SkillsExperience in food, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.Ability to perform manual labor, including loading and unloading products.Experience with mixing products and repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.Good work ethic and ability to be cross-trained.Additional Skills & QualificationsDesire for long-term position and career advancement.Capability to work in varying temperature conditions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing and distribution facility serving a wide radius of restaurants. The environment is clean and well-organized, with areas that vary in temperature from chilly refer areas to warm dry storage. Employees are rotated through different areas to prevent long periods in cold conditions, ensuring comfort. Necessary attire includes non-slip and oil-resistant steel-toed shoes, which are provided along with personal protective equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
