This role requires a highly skilled operator who can interpret blueprints, select proper tooling, and perform accurate setups to support production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in running complex press brake jobs while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal componentsSelect and install correct tooling, dies, and punches based on job requirementsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bend specificationsPerform test bends, adjust machine settings, and verify first-piece qualityMonitor production runs to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerancesInspect finished parts using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and angle gaugesTroubleshoot setup or machine issues and make adjustments as neededMaintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety guidelinesQualifications and Requirements:Previous experience as a Press Brake Setup Operator Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret bend deductions/anglesExperience selecting tooling and completing accurate press brake setupsKnowledge of metal fabrication processes and safe material handlingExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workDependable, career-minded attitude with strong problem-solving skillsBenefits and Perks:Pay Rate: $24-$30 per hour
