**Job Title: 1st Shift Precision Racker**
**Job Description**
+ The 1st Shift Precision Racker plays a crucial role in supporting the Machine Operator by fixturing products onto designated racks to be washed and coated in the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) vacuum coating machines.
+ This position involves accurately tagging, documenting, recording, and maintaining production logs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Understand the flow of production per PVD coating sequence.
+ Maintain work orders collected and processed completely, ensuring traceability of customer property.
+ Use extreme caution with customer products and tooling to avoid damage.
+ Learn proper fixturing techniques for placing parts on racks and un-racking parts per work order.
+ Select racks according to size, shape, and number of parts to be processed.
+ Manually transfer racked products (weighing up to 40 pounds) to automated cleaning baskets and carousels.
+ Visually inspect parts to verify finish complies with specifications.
+ Complete paperwork and tags for parts.
+ Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

+ $18.50/hr.
+ Monday-Friday: 5:15am-2:00pm
+ Must be flexible to work Overtime
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of experience performing similar work in a related field such as Manufacturing or a Machine Shop is preferred.
+ Hands-on and working knowledge of mechanical and computer-controlled machinery.
+ Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
+ Sense of urgency and efficiency in all tasks.
+ Must have initiative and be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
+ Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, persistence.
+ Adaptability/flexibility when encountering problems. Must be able to communicate discrepancies to a team leader and solve problems and implement solutions.
+ Ability to follow instructions and all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of lift trucks and machinery.
+ Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
+ Ability to work overtime as needed.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in a related field such as Manufacturing or a Machine Shop is preferred.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
