Our client, a reputable aerospace company, is seeking a 1st Shift Planner to join their team. As a 1st Shift Planner, you will be part of the production team supporting efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** 1st Shift Planner
**Location:** Brea, CA
**Pay Range:** $23 - $27/hr. (open for discussion)
**Duration:** 6+ months
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist with the inception and closure of work orders.
+ Resolve issues related to over-shipment, shortages, engineering change orders, and order cancellations.
+ Interface with suppliers to manage order statuses.
+ Work closely with manufacturing engineers and planners to create and track work orders.
+ Identify critical parts, safety stock, and minimum quantities to stock.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Previous experience in the aerospace industry or a transferable industry is preferred.
+ Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong organizational skills to manage multiple work orders and purchase orders.
+ Must be ITAR compliant (US citizen / Perm Resident).
