Job Description
Operate a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries, moving them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, and into trucks or storage facilities.
Shifts - typically working 9 hour shifts
1st Shift - 6am-2pm
*This would be potentially a split shift (9am-5pm or 10am-6pm)*
2nd Shift - 2pm-10pm
Responsibilities
Obtain a copy of the production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines according to the production schedule.Load and unload goods from vehicles.Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility.Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.Stack empty pallets.Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.Dump materials into machine hoppers.Essential Skills
6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience, either sit down or stand up.Material handling, picking, packing, and unloading.Experience with RF scanners.Ability to lift 10-30 lbs. consistently.Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Whitewater, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
