1st Shift Floater Operator

**Job Title: Floater Operator**
**Location: Commerce, CA 90040**
**Pay Range: $22.00 per hour**
**What's the Job?**
+ **Shift: Monday- Friday from 5am- 1:30pm**
+ Compound formulas accurately by weight and by ingredients and ensure that the best methodology is utilized based upon the product or mix.
+ Possess and apply working knowledge of all raw materials before use, i.e.: mixing/heating to ensure quality and consistency in batches.
+ Utilize inventory lot rotation (FIFO) for all materials used.
+ Possess and apply working knowledge of all pumps, mixers, scales, fork trucks, high density storage units, meters, and computers.
+ Follow all quality assurance instructions on formulas using proper compounding techniques to ensure quality samples.
+ Responsible for filling all batch containers at the proper weights and in proper containers. Marking all containers with the necessary SSC labels and shipping labels.
+ Ensure that all CMS process is executed correctly, and all filling instructions are followed for each order.
+ Print shipping labels and fill out the label form and give it to QC department to ensure that all information in the label is correct.
+ Count all labels printed to make sure we have all labels needed for the order.
+ Follow 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws.
+ Maintain inventory information on filling materials and report to supervisor any shortages.
+ Follow directions as needed to complete order in a timely fashion.
+ Must be able to operate pumps, mixers, filters, lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Responsible for sanitization of production equipment including pumps, pots, kettles, tanks, blenders, and mixers.
+ Proper handling of Allergen products and Equipment.
+ Knowledge of SAP system.
+ Make one observation in Intelex once a month.
+ Other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
**What's Needed?**
+ **1+ years of Recent Warehouse or Manufacturing experience**
+ **2+ years of Recent Forklift experience**
+ **Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.**
+ Must be able to see and distinguish between labels.
+ A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
+ Ability to pass background check and drug test
