3+ years of experience in the mold or toolmaking industry is required 1+ year of CAM programming experience (WorkNC is a plus) is also required Pay is $30 to $40/hour depending on experience Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder Full-time, permanent W-2 employee Full benefits

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

Machine for tool builds and contract machining projects per customer expectations and quality standards Routinely program and operate vertical machining centers as well as vertical and horizontal milling machines Actively participate in meetings and utilize your expertise to propose and implement improvements to design, quality, and manufacturing processes Collaborate with other Machinists to maximize machine efficiencies Work with Toolmakers to ensure critical items are addressed seamlessly Support and actively engage in 6S activities

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist in the mold or toolmaking industry 1+ year of CAM programming experience (WorkNC is a plus) A solid understanding of how the components of a plastic injection mold come together or some toolmaking experience Experience in blueprint reading and using precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges) A solid work history with a reputation for being safety-focused, dependable, and resourceful You must be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail. A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card
