Assembler I & II - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler I or II on the 1st shift, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing medical devices. These positions are contract-to-hire, with the possibility of a longer transition to permanent employment. Candidates should be flexible with their schedules, including early start times and occasional Saturdays.

1st shift - 5:45am to 2:30pm

$19.50/hr or $21/hr

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer/Supervisor.Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience using a microscope for assembly.Proficiency in small part assembly.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, and assembly equipment.Experience working in a cleanroom environment.Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly with a microscope.Ability to work with a microscope 90% of the shift.High school diploma or equivalent.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position requires working in a cleanroom environment 100% of the time, with close workstation proximity. The shift hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with flexibility to start as early as 5:00 am and work until 3:30 pm, including Saturdays as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
