**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **1st and 2nd Class Riggers** in and around **Bremerton, WA** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of **up to $32/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a 1st or 2nd Class Rigger and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Safe and Efficient Operation of Lifting and Rigging Activities onboard Naval Vessels or in Shipyards + Inspecting Slings, Wire, Rope, and Chain + Troubleshoot and Resolve Rigging Related Issues + Assemble and Dismantle Ship Equipment + Calculate Load Weights and Select Appropriate Rigging Gear Based on the Weight, Size and Shape of the Load to be Lifted + Secures Loads using Rigging Techniques, such as Ropes, Chokers, Slings, Shackles, Spreader Bars, and Taglines to Prevent Shifting or Damaging During Lifting Operations + Other Tasks as Assigned **Requirements:** + Minimum of a High School Diploma and 2 Years of Directly Related Experience as a Rigger, Preferably in the Maritime Industry + Knowledge of Rigging Principles, Techniques, and Best Practices + Able to Read and Interpret Drawings, Blueprints, and Rigging Plans + Ability to Obtain a NASSCO Bremerton 20K Forklift License + Strong Attention to Detail, Commitment to Safety, Physical Strength and Stamina to Lift Heavy Objects + Able to Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check + Respirator Fit Test Completed Prior to Start + OSHA 10 and Fire Watch Certifications + Standard PPE + Rigging Certification is a Plus **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
