Job Summary:

This role provides scientific and technical leadership across global laboratory operations, driving continuous improvement, overseeing technology transfer, and supporting complex metabolism study initiatives. You will independently conduct and interpret in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification studies and lead technical efforts that elevate quality and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead global technical initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and operational harmonization

Independently perform in vitro and in vivo metabolite ID studies and assign metabolite structures using MS/MS data

Oversee complex study designs, technology transfer activities, and validation projects

Collaborate with project teams and clients to support study setup and scientific discussions

Conduct quality investigations, support CAP/EQAS responses, and drive preventative actions

Evaluate new technologies, instrumentation platforms, and process enhancements

Provide training, technical guidance, and mentorship to laboratory staff

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree in medical, laboratory science, chemical, biological, or related field.

Extensive experience with MS and MS/MS data interpretation for metabolite identification

Proficiency in conducting metabolic profiling and complex in vitro/in vivo studies

Hands-on experience in regulated laboratory environments supporting drug development

Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

Strong understanding of drug development processes, regulatory expectations, and cross‑functional dependencies

Ability to analyze complex data, troubleshoot technical challenges, and drive process improvements

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients and internal teams

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $89,000.00 - $206,700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
