**Job Title: Outbound Associate**
**Job Description**
As an Outbound Associate, also known as a Personal Shopper, you will be responsible for selecting and packaging grocery items and goods, scanning items to complete orders, and ensuring the protection and quality of customer products. No prior experience is required for this role.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pick and pack grocery items and goods with precision.
+ Scan items for order completion.
+ Ensure the protection and quality of customer goods.
+ Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the department.
+ Adhere to safe food practices specific to the department.
+ Audit products for quality assurance.
+ Maintain high safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the warehouse.
+ Support team efforts by assisting colleagues when necessary.
+ Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching for extended periods.
+ Handle products using single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling techniques.
**Essential Skills**
+ Counting and scanning proficiency.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving.
+ Inventory management skills.
+ Proficiency with scanning equipment.
+ Ability to work in cold environments for up to 8 hours at temperatures as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with fresh produce.
+ Experience in receiving, stocking, or inventory management.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a state-of-the-art facility with exposure to temperatures ranging from -10 degrees Fahrenheit in freezing areas to 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit in refrigerated sections. The role involves physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. You will be required to wear oil and slip-resistant shoes and handle FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
