Job Summary
Responsible for the systematic planning and coordination of documentation, outside support and maintenance activities for Air Methods aircraft heavy maintenance visits. This position collaborates with the Repair Station Supervisor, Project Manager, Planning and Materials departments to ensure a continued flow of information, materials and outside support for hangar and shop projects. The Production Planner will provide a project workflow to the leads regarding manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.

This role is considered Safety Sensitive due to the proximity to aircraft maintenance and direct access to operational areas.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent in Maintenance Planning from two-year college or technical school and five (5) or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor degree preferred
• 5+years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Background and knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes.
• Airframe and Powerplant License or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance production
• Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Project management training or experience
Skills
• Excellent collaborative & problem solving skills.
• Ability to set priorities.
• Ability to perform in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in aircraft MRO businesses
• Motivator of employees. Excellent communication skills.
Computer Skills
• Ability to learn and utilize the company’s maintenance information system (Ramco).
• Able to use multiple data bases to track projects.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Airframe & Powerplant Certificate or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance production
Physical Demands
• Work to be both office and shop environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
