### Job Duties POSITION SUMMARY The 12v Electrician will route wires for the fire apparatus equipment as directed by wire diagrams and other technical drawings. They will be required to install 12v accessories such as sensers and lights. The 12v Electrician will also be expected to fabricate boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. 1. Routes 12v electrical wires to equipment and follows a wire diagram. 2. Connects lights, hose reals and other accessories to electrical box. 3. Fabricates boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint. 4. Communicates with fabricators to have a complete installation. 5. Fabricates wire harnesses to complete installation as needed. 6. Utilizes basic hand tools as needed to complete objectives. 7. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company. Tools to be utilized: Hand tools, power tools, grinders, cut off wheels, and tape measure. ### Minimum Education Required • High school diploma/GED. ### Minimum Experience Required Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience: • High school diploma/GED. • Strong mechanical and technical ability required. • Low voltage electrical experience required. • Manufacturing experience preferred. Skills: Language: • Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books. • Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately. • Able to follow written and verbal directions. Math: • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Computer: • Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.
