Role Purpose
The Global Operational Resiliency Intern will support the execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of State Street’s operational resilience program. The role provides exposure to a global financial services environment and hands-on experience working with the Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE), Third-Party Assurance, and Resilience Transformation initiatives

Program dates: 22June 2026 – 21 June 2027
You must be available to participate in the program in person in UK, starting from day one and for its full duration. You must be available to participate in the program in person, starting from day one and for its full duration and you are required to work from the office 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE)
Assist in planning and coordinating resilience testing exercises.
Prepare test scripts, participation packs, and post-exercise documentation.
Collect, consolidate, and quality-check testing data.
Track remediation actions and lessons learned.
Support maintenance of playbooks and SOPs.
Third-Party Assurance Support
Assist intake, tracking, and review of third-party assurance questionnaires.
Support analysis of vendor responses and identify risk indicators.
Maintain central logs, dashboards, and evidence repositories.
Prepare supplier risk ratings and summaries.
Coordinate information requests with stakeholders.
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
Support process mapping and workflow optimization.
Assist in designing dashboards, metrics, and KPIs.
Conduct research on best practices and regulatory expectations.
Contribute ideas for tooling enhancements and automation.
Participate in governance and data quality workstreams.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should be:
A minimum 2.1 honor’s degree or equivalent (predicted)
Undergraduate students: Business, Risk Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Prior experience in financial services, technology, or operational risk helpful.
Interest in operational resilience, third-party risk, or risk governance.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Power BI is a plus.
Interest in technology, cyber security, or operational risk.
